Criss Cross Folder

We made this fabulous Criss Cross card last night. It was really easy and looks stunning. This is a photo of the whole card. Below is a photo of the folder part on its own and two inserts that I made.

Keeping the inserts single thickness allows you to add several more tabbed cards to the folder. This would make a great gift for someone, with photos of the kids or a recipe folder for a kitchen tea gift. The folder is quite sturdy which is great because you'll be sharing it around, everyone will want to see what you've made.

Book to make this beautiful Criss Cross Folder with a group in your own home or I will be holding a class here on Monday 17th September at 7.30pm. The cost will be $10 including supplies. Please bring you cutter and adhesive to this class. Please book soon only a few places still available

Card Sketch Inspiration

Inspired by a card sketch, this card came together with very little effort, I have decided I should use sketches as a resource more often, even if only to get the creative ideas flowing. This Stamp set is from the Spring Mini Catalogue it is called 'Office Accoutrement' The set has co-ordinating paper and gorgoeus, matching, self adhesive, die-cut accents. The So Saffron flower is a die-cut from this set,as is the Old Olive strip with the white flowers. I have used Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Cool Caribbean inks and cardstock. I have also used the Paisley background and It's your Birthday stamp sets.

Try using a sketch yourself! Let me know how you like them!
