Quick Cards

Well, in the rush of the festive season, let's make some cards that take only a few minutes each. Stamp a greeting of your choosing and make a little gift bag to pop them into and you have some ready made gifts to pop straight under the tree. Great for a friend, a teacher or a family member.

Make as many cards as you need starting at 8 for $10 and $5 for a gift bag. A total of $15

Make additional cards for$1 each and extra gift bags for $3.

I will run classes in your own home if you have a minimum of 4 guests or you can come to my place on Monday 10th December at 7.30 pm

All in the Family

Finally got my stamp set assembled and got to play with it last night. It started out as a card to take to a workshop today and as I worked on it, it became a 12 by 12 layout that I just happened to have a frame for and its ready to hang!

I love it! I'm sure you will too!

During October the Australian Stampin'Up community was saddened by the death of its General Manager, David Abbott. I only met Dave a few times but felt like I knew him like an old friend.Dave was only 41 and left behind his wife and three small children. Stampin'Up have just released the stamp set "'All in the Family,' to raise money for Dave's Family. The entire price of the stamp set will be donated to the family, not just the profits, that's 100%.

All In The Family is available from today,

1st November, to 30th November 2007

for $73.95 for 28 stamps in the set.

Criss Cross Folder

We made this fabulous Criss Cross card last night. It was really easy and looks stunning. This is a photo of the whole card. Below is a photo of the folder part on its own and two inserts that I made.

Keeping the inserts single thickness allows you to add several more tabbed cards to the folder. This would make a great gift for someone, with photos of the kids or a recipe folder for a kitchen tea gift. The folder is quite sturdy which is great because you'll be sharing it around, everyone will want to see what you've made.

Book to make this beautiful Criss Cross Folder with a group in your own home or I will be holding a class here on Monday 17th September at 7.30pm. The cost will be $10 including supplies. Please bring you cutter and adhesive to this class. Please book soon only a few places still available
